In the coming weeks, Lamborghini will reveal details about the exciting project. This includes the names of the artists unknown to them and a timetable for auction.

The physical element of Space Key

After numerous social media posts hinting at something space-themed the Italian supercar maker Lamborghini entered the world non-fungible (NFT) tokens with an exclusive initiative dubbed Space Key. The NFT was developed in collaboration with an unknown artist and will be auctioned in a few short weeks. At its heart is a piece that's made of the latest carbon fiber composite material that was delivered to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2019 as part of a research project. Carbon fiber was 3D printed for the base of every Space Key. Each Space Key is connected to a unique, digital artwork using the QR code. Five Space Keys have been produced.

The Space Key is a collection of five items that unlocks an exclusive digital artwork by an unidentified artist. The project was developed in collaboration with NFT PRO(tm) the "collector's work" is limited to only five units and will be auctioned off soon.

Each Space Key contains a block comprised of the most advanced carbon-fire composite material, which was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a 2019 research project. After returning to Earth the space key was engraved with a QR code, which connects it to the digital element of the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that occurs at different times when the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Over 600 million pixels each of the five images which were captured by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used an inflatable camera with a lens to capture the individual images, which were then put together into the final image. The result is an out-of-this world photo that captures the beauty of the Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic look of the car rising from it. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, but the exact date and time of the auction haven't yet been confirmed yet.
